Fresh Herbs vs. Dried Herbs

Dried herbs have a more stronger flavor than the fresh ones. You will need to reduce the quantity by a third or a quarter so, if a recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of chopped rosemary leaves, use only 1-1.5 teaspoons of the dried variety. Dried herbs lose their potency after a while, so check the best-before date regularly.
